Job Summary：TheProject Manager – Data Centresupports the successful execution of projects by coordinating internal teams, managing customer expectations, and helping to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within scope, and to the required quality standards. Working closely with sales, application engineering, project teams, service colleagues, factory teams, and customers, the role helps ensure requirements are clearly understood and translated into effective project delivery plans.

This role is not only about managing schedules and milestones. It is also about building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, maintaining clear and professional communication, identifying and helping to resolve risks and issues, and supporting the smooth delivery of data centre projects from order handover through to completion.

The successful candidate will be a motivated and organised project professional, a credible customer-facing representative, and an important contributor to the continued growth of the Core Data Centre business.

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the primary point of contact for the client and develop strong, trusted relationships throughout the project lifecycle.

Build and maintain effective working relationships with the Contractor and other onsite partners.

Manage the flow of information between stakeholders, ensuring communication is accurate, timely, and well‑coordinated

Ensure all information requests (RFIs, technical queries, documentation needs) are routed to the correct internal teams and responded to promptly.

Oversee technical resources to ensure the FSRis supporting all phases of project delivery.

Laise closely with the equipment coordinatorregarding manufacturing progress, lead times, and any risks to schedule.

Ensure Equipment coordinator manages on‑time delivery of chillers and other major equipment to meet project milestones,escalating as needed.

Manage the scheduling, logistics, and stakeholder coordination for factory witness tests of those units scheduled to be tested.





Conduct forward planning of activities to ensure warranty work is scheduled and completed efficiently, managing any customer snag list in parallel.

Verify site readiness prior to installation, commissioning, or service activities, addressing blockers or risks early.

Involve sales forquotes for work outside the contract scope, including variations, changes and future or ongoing maintenance services as part of lifecycle and customer‑relationship support.

Manage subcontractor availability, qualification, and scheduling to ensure adequate support for project execution.

Ensure all personnel and subcontractors meet site‑specific eligibility, safety, and compliance requirements before mobilization.

Collaborate with the Service Technical Team to resolve technical issues, plan commissioning activities, and ensure quality outcomes.

Lead regular project meetings and provide clear, consistent project status reporting to internal and external stakeholders.

Maintain complete and accurate project documentation including schedules, approvals, changes, logs, and closeout materials.

Proactively identify risks, issues, and dependencies, and drive resolution to maintain project timelines and objectives.

Ensure adherence to safety standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices for mission‑critical/data centre environments.

Knowledge of equipment delivery processes, manufacturing timelines, and onsite readiness for technical installations.

Familiarity with commissioning, warranty processes, and field service coordination.

Understanding of safety standards, regulatory requirements,



and compliance practices in construction or technical project environments.

Ability to work with subcontractors, evaluate qualifications, and manage logistics.

Experience handling customer‑facing reporting tools and project documentation platforms.

Solid understanding of risk identification, mitigation, and issue resolution principles.

Comfort working in fast‑paced environments with shifting priorities and tight deadlines.

Customer Relationship Management – Ability to build trust, serve as the primary client contact, and maintain strong relationships throughout the project lifecycle.

Communication Excellence – Skilled in managing clear, accurate, and timely information flow among internal and external stakeholders.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration – Ability to coordinate with equipment coordinators, service teams, contractors, document controllers, and sales.

Organizational & Planning Skills – Strong capability to schedule activities, manage logistics, oversee factory witness tests, and prepare for commissioning.

Technical Coordination – Competent in aligning resources (FSRs, equipment specialists) to ensure solid project delivery.

Problem‑Solving & Risk Management – Proactive in identifying risks, dependencies, and issues, with a structured approach to resolution.

Documentation & Reporting – Strong skills in maintaining accurate project files, approvals, logs, and status reports.

Attention to Detail – Ensures site readiness, compliance, eligibility, and safety requirements are met before mobilization.

Decision‑Making – Able to take initiative, elevate issues appropriately, and keep project timelines on track.

Adaptability – Comfortable working in high‑pressure, mission‑critical environments with evolving customer needs.

Relationship Building – Able to foster productive partnerships with contractors, subcontractors, and internal teams.
