To enter request form data into our Laboratory Information System efficiently and accurately
About The Role:
Data entry of pathology request forms using laboratory application software
Answering phone enquiries from the general public and medical practitioners
Provision of results to clients and medical practitioners
Shifts are rostered between 7am and 9.30pm Monday and Friday (for 7.5hrs), 4.30pm-9.30pm Wednesday and 7.30am - 12.30pm Saturday
Selection Criteria:
- Previous data entry experience and competence with a range of computer application programs.
- A sound knowledge of medical terminology
- A keen eye for detail and exceptional accuracy in data transfer operations
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- The ability to work cooperatively in a team setting as well as autonomously when required
- A commitment to privacy and confidentiality requirements within a medical setting
- Availability to work these 4 days with Wednesday evening and Saturday morning shift times set.
