Job Description

MacBild Group is seeking a qualified full time Carpenter to join our team on residential projects. You'll be working across all stages of the build — from frame through to lock-up and fix-out — as part of a tight, capable crew. This is an ongoing full-time role with consistent work and genuine variety across our project pipeline.

Key responsibilities

- Wall and roof framing, including setting out, plating and standing
n
- Structural work — bearers, joists, beams and subfloor
n
- Lock-up stage: windows, external doors, eaves, cladding and weatherproofing
n
- Fix-out and second fix: internal doors, architraves, skirting, hardware, cabinetry install and finishing carpentry
n
- Reading and working from plans, engineering details and specifications
n
- General site carpentry as required
n
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work area in line with site safety requirements
n
- Working cooperatively with site supervisors, other trades and the wider project team
n
- Completing work to MacBild's quality standards
