Worthington Motor Group is seeking a reliable and hands‐on Handyperson / Maintenance Officer to help maintain our dealership buildings, facilities and grounds.

n

This is a wide-ranging role for someone who takes pride in keeping a workplace safe, tidy, functional and well‐presented.

Handyperson / Maintenance Officer

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Maintain the overall presentation and condition of dealership buildings and grounds.
n
- Perform general handyman and maintenance tasks.
n
- Carry out minor repairs, adjustments, replacements and preventative maintenance.
n
- Assist with painting, patching, touch‐ups and general property improvements.
n
- Maintain lawns, gardens, hedges and landscaped areas.
n
- Pressure clean driveways, pathways, outdoor areas and building surfaces.
n
- Keep outdoor and common areas clean, tidy and safe.
n
- Monitor buildings, facilities and grounds for maintenance issues.
n
- Identify potential hazards and report maintenance concerns.
n
- Prioritise and complete day‐to‐day maintenance requests across the site.
n




- Coordinate and liaise with external trades and contractors when specialist work is required.
n
- Arrange contractor access and oversee works to completion.
n
- Maintain records of maintenance activities and outstanding works.
n
- Support workplace health and safety standards across all areas of the business.
n

About You

n

n
- Practical, reliable and self‐motivated
n
- Experience in property maintenance, handyman work, facilities maintenance, landscaping or similar
n
- Able to work independently and prioritise tasks
n
- Confident using maintenance and gardening equipment
n
- Safety‐conscious with strong attention to detail
n
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
n
