Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Site Manager to join our team, specialising in commercial office fit-outs and refurbishment projects across Sydney.

This role would suit a hands-on Site Manager who enjoys working on smaller to medium-sized commercial projects, where attention to detail, programme management and client interaction are just as important as construction delivery.

About the Role

n

Your responsibilities will include:

n

n
- Managing day-to-day site operations across commercial office fit-out and refurbishment projects
n
- Coordinating subcontractors, trades and suppliers
n
- Managing project sequencing, programme and site logistics
n
- Ensuring works are completed in accordance with drawings, specifications and programme requirements
n
- Maintaining high standards of quality, safety and presentation
n
- Coordinating with clients, consultants, building management and other stakeholders
n
- Running site meetings and coordinating trades
n
- Managing site inductions, permits, inspections and documentation
n
- Identifying and resolving construction issues quickly and effectively
n
- Monitoring project progress and reporting to the Project Manager
n
- Managing handover, defects and project close-out
n
- Working within occupied buildings and live commercial environments where required
n

About You

n

We are looking for someone with:





n

n
- 5+ years' construction experience in Australia
n
- Proven experience as a Site Manager / Foreman on commercial office fit-out and refurbishment projects
n
- A solid understanding of commercial interiors, including partitions, ceilings, joinery, services, finishes and refurbishment works
n
- Experience working on projects typically in the $2M-$15M range or similar
n
- Strong subcontractor and trade management skills
n
- Excellent understanding of construction programmes and sequencing
n
- Strong attention to detail and quality
n
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
n
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of a project
n
- A strong commitment to WHS and site safety
n
