Programmed Apprenticeships & Traineeships, in partnership with a leading automotive company, is offering an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic person to start their career as a Light Vehicle Mechanic Apprentice.

You’ll earn while you learn, gaining a Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology while developing your skills in a professional workshop alongside experienced automotive technicians.

What will you be doing?

As an apprentice, you’ll develop your skills across a range of automotive tasks, including:

- Assisting with vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs
- Learning how to diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle faults
- Inspecting and working on brakes, engines, suspension and other components
- Using workshop tools, equipment and diagnostic technology
- Following technical information and service procedures
- Maintaining a clean,



organised and safe workshop

What are we looking for?

We’re looking for someone who is:

- Passionate about cars and hands‑on work
- Keen to learn and build a long‑term career in automotive
- Reliable, motivated and safety‑conscious
- A strong team player with good communication skills
- Interested in developing practical and technical skills
- Able to pass a pre‑employment medical and Drug & Alcohol test
- A current driver’s licence is preferred but not essential
