About the role:

n

We require an energetic professional who is a highly motivated individual that seeks to develop their career in quality for a privately owned manufacturing business. Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, the ideal candidate is a detail-oriented professional with proven experience in product inspection, strong knowledge of regulatory standards, and a data-driven approach to root-cause problem-solving. The Quality Control Officer will be responsible for supporting the management and compliance of ISO9001 standards for the Digga Group and in helping to drive continuous improvement throughout our operations.

A good working knowledge of manufacturing principles would be expected, and a background in machinery design, fabrication principles, automotive or mining equipment is preferred and would be an advantage. Familiarisation with modern measuring equipment, such as CMM would also be an advantage.

Key responsibilities will include:

n

n
- Assist in the development and implementation of quality control processes, procedures and guidelines to ensure consistency, reliability, and compliance with quality standards and regulations
n
- Conduct inspections and audits of production processes, materials, components and finished products to identify quality issues, defects or non-conformances.
n
- Work with and assist the Quality team in the maintenance of certification to ISO 9001
n
- Provide ongoing oversight of quality awareness and control with Production.
n
- Support the Quality team and other personnel, as required, in conducting investigations into production-related quality issues,



including those reported both internally and externally.
n
- Document and report quality findings, deviations, and corrective actions taken, maintain accurate records, logs and inspection reports for traceability and accountability
n
- Undertake regular quality audits on the integrity and implementation of production activities, including equipment used and preservation of products, in accordance with company procedures.
n
- Assist the Quality team in ensure that, where applicable, inspection, measuring and test equipment is suitably calibrated or verified.

- Work with and build strong relationships with key stakeholders
n

To be successful you will have:

n

n
- Experience with ISO9001 required
n
- Experience in internal Auditing, Quality, or related fields essential
n
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role with a background in a manufacturing environment
n
- Positive understanding of quality control procedures and relevant production standards
n
- Excellent attention to detail and methodical approach to managing business requirements
n
- High level of communication and problem-solving skills (Ishikawa diagram or 5 – y analysis experience or knowledge highly desirable)
n
