Job Opportunity

Australian Community Villages is seeking a reliable, hands-on, and motivated Site Caretaker to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Bass Hill village community.

This is a diverse role suited to someone who enjoys a mix of operations management, maintenance, resident engagement, and practical hands-on work. You will play a key role in ensuring the village is secure, well maintained, compliant, and operating efficiently.

This is an in office position located in Bass Hill, Sydney.

About the Role

Day-to-day operations of the village

Overseeing onsite staff, contractors, and service providers

Coordinating maintenance, repairs, gardening, and site presentation

Supporting reception and front office operations





Managing resident concerns and fostering a positive community environment

Ensuring compliance with WHS requirements and the Residential (Land Lease) Communities Act

Conducting regular inspections and maintaining site standards

Assisting with administrative and operational reporting duties

About You

Previous experience in site, property, accommodation, facilities, or village management

Strong maintenance and gardening skills

A hands-on and proactive approach to work

Strong communication and problem-solving abilities

The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities

A strong understanding of safety and compliance responsibilities

A current NSW Driver Licence

Highly Regarded

Trade, handyperson, or maintenance experience

Experience in residential communities, accommodation, or hospitality operations

First Aid Certificate

Willingness to reside on-site
