Sydney Earthworks is seeking an experienced Senior Site Supervisor / Foreman to join our team on civil and earthworks projects across the Southern Tablelands region of NSW. This position will initially be offered on a contract basis, with a genuine view to permanent full time employment for the right person. We are looking for a hands-on leader who can take ownership of site operations, lead crews and subcontractors, and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

Key responsibilities

- Supervise and coordinate daily civil and earthworks activities
- Lead site crews, subcontractors and plant operators
- Coordinate labour, plant, materials and deliveries
- Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Oversee earthworks, excavation, drainage, formwork and concreting
- Monitor project progress and maintain construction schedules
- Ensure high standards of workmanship and quality
- Conduct pre-starts, toolbox meetings and site inspections
- Maintain strong WHS standards across the site
- Identify and resolve site issues efficiently

About you





- Proven experience as a Civil Site Supervisor / Senior Foreman
- Strong experience in earthworks and civil construction
- Experience managing crews, subcontractors and plant
- Structural, formwork and concreting experience highly regarded
- Ability to read and interpret plans, levels and specifications
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- A high level of safety awareness and commitment to quality
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
- A practical, hands-on approach and the ability to take ownership of site outcomes
- Willingness to work across the Southern Tablelands region
- Contract position with a view to permanent full-time employment
