Accounts Receivable & Billings Specialist - Logistics (Hybrid | South Sydney)

Location: Southern Sydney (Hybrid - 2/3 split)

Contract: Temporary (3-6 months, high potential to extend)

Hourly Rate: $40 - $48/hr + super (DOE)

Visa Status: Open to all valid work visas - Working Holiday Visas (WHV) strongly encouraged!

About the Role

Got freight or logistics finance experience and looking for your next gig in Sydney? A fast-growing supply chain and logistics business in Southern Sydney is seeking an experienced AR & Billings Specialist to manage high-volume invoicing and keep cash flow moving. Enjoy the flexibility of a hybrid work arrangement (work from home up to 2 days a week) while working alongside a collaborative supply chain team.

Key Responsibilities

- Processing high-volume freight billing, consignment notes, and customs/duties charges
- Reconciling transport accounts, pods (proof of delivery), and fuel surcharges
- Following up on outstanding accounts with commercial freight and trade clients
- Investigating and resolving complex billing disputes and rate discrepancies




- Assisting the finance manager with weekly cash collection reports and end-of-month reconciliations

What We're Looking For

- Experience: 2+ years in AR/Billings, ideally within logistics, freight forwarding, supply chain, or transport
- Systems: Familiarity with logistics ERPs (e.g., CargoWise, SAP, Xero, or Oracle) and intermediate/advanced Excel
- Communication: Clear verbal and written English to liaise with drivers, depot managers, and corporate accounts
- Visa: Full working rights in Australia (WHV holders with relevant overseas logistics/finance background are encouraged to apply)
- Availability: Immediately available or on short notice
