Job Description

Lead the industrial design of connected products from first sketch to tooled part — form, ergonomics, CMF and DFM — with the engineers who build the internals and the workshop that prototypes your ideas a floor away.

What you'll do

- Own industrial design across concurrent client programs: concept sketching, CAD development, CMF and design intent documentation.

- Drive human-factors and ergonomics studies with real prototypes — 3D printed, machined and soft-tooled on our workshop floor.
n
- Partner with mechanical and electronics engineers to resolve design-for-manufacture trade-offs without losing the design story.
n
- Prepare tooling-ready surface models and support supplier DFM reviews through to first articles.

- Present design directions to clients and mentor mid-level designers across the studio.

What we look for

n

n
- 7+ years of industrial design on shipped physical products, ideally electronics-enclosed.
n
- A portfolio showing form development, CMF sensibility and manufactured outcomes.
n
- Strong surfacing CAD (Fusion 360, SolidWorks or Creo) and rapid prototyping fluency.
n
- Working knowledge of injection moulding, CNC and sheet-metal processes.
n
- Transparent client-facing communication and design storytelling.
