Position Overview

n

This role will be a Sydney site-based engineer for a Data Centre project, providing technical support and day-to-day assistance to the Engineering, Construction and Commissioning Departments.

n

Specific Duties & Responsibilities

n

n
- Assist in the supervision and management of day-to-day HVAC site activities – installation, commissioning and delivery of Climatech projects
n
- Assist in the monitoring of quality, site progress and programme requirements, compliance with specifications and safety standards, maintaining documentation
n




- Review drawings and schedules, provide engineering and technical support
n
- Assist in identifying and resolving site and coordination issues
n
- Coordination and communication with the Client, Builder, Trades, Sub-Contractors, Suppliers, Design Stakeholders and our internal Project team
n
- Collaborate with the BIM and drafting team – internal and/or subcontractors, for the on-time delivery of high-quality concept drawings and its development into fully coordinated and buildable Workshop Drawings
n
- Employ appropriate engineering techniques for the design of HVAC and Mechanical Services systems
n
- Prepare, develop, review, coordinate and manage engineering design deliverables including system and schematic sketches, calculations, equipment selections, technical submissions, reports and specifications
n
- Adhere to the Company's HSE&Q; Policy and Procedures
n

Minimum Qualifications

n

n
- Minimum 2+ years' Mechanical Services experience in Data Centre, Commercial, Healthcare or Infrastructure industries, with strong preference working on Australian projects
n
- Tertiary Qualifications in Mechanical Engineering and/or equivalent discipline
n
- Experience in Microsoft Office and Bluebeam programmes
n
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills
n
- A valid driver's license
n
