The Opportunity

This is an excellent prospect to join an established business operating within the automotive manufacturing sector. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will become part of a close-knit finance team and take on a broad range of responsibilities across the finance function.

The role will include Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable responsibilities, alongside exposure to month-end activities and general accounting support. This would suit someone with solid Accounts Payable experience who is keen to broaden their skills and take on greater responsibility.

The Challenge

Reporting to the Financial Controller, some of your key responsibilities will include:

- Managing end-to-end Accounts Payable transactions, including supplier reconciliations and query resolution
- Preparing customer invoices and credit notes, allocating cash and following up outstanding balances
- Maintaining supplier and customer master data
- Administering corporate credit card processes
- Responding to supplier,



customer and internal finance queries
- Supporting month-end activities, audit and tax requests, and general finance reporting
- Providing general finance and administrative support to the broader team

The Expertise

To be successful in this role, you will bring the following:

- A minimum of two years’ experience in a similar finance or Accounts Payable position
- End-to-end Accounts Payable experience and an interest in developing broader finance skills
- A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline
- Strong Excel skills and confidence working with financial data
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities
- Confidence communicating with suppliers, customers and internal stakeholders
