We are seeking reliable and motivated Meat Process Workers to join a busy and fast-paced meat processing environment.

n

This is an excellent prospect for someone looking to build a long-term career in meat production. The role will initially commence as a Meat Process Worker at $33.80 per hour, with the opportunity to progress into a Line Leader / Multivac Machine Operator role paying up to $44 per hour.

n

Progression will be based on performance, reliability, ability to operate machinery and demonstrate leadership capabilities.

n

As a Meat Process Worker, you will be responsible for:

n

n
- Preparing and handling raw pork, beef and chicken
n
- Working on a fast-paced production and packing line
n
- Packing, labelling and preparing products
n
- Performing manual handling and heavy lifting
n
- Operating production equipment and machinery as trained
n
- Completing quality and weight checks
n
- Following food safety, hygiene and compliance procedures
n
- Supporting the production team to meet daily targets
n
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work environment
n

Progression to Line Leader / Multivac Operator:

n

Successful employees will have the opportunity to progress into a higher-level position involving:

- Operating Multivac packaging machinery
n
- Leading and supporting the production line
n
- Assisting with machine setup, adjustments and basic troubleshooting
n
- Completing production data entry and compliance documentation
n
- Conducting quality, weight and production checks
n
- Supporting and directing team members
n
- Monitoring production targets and workflow
n
- Using strong communication and leadership skills to maintain an efficient production line
n

To be considered for progression, you will ideally have:

n

n
- Previous Multivac machine operating experience
n
- Meat processing or food production experience
n
- Strong leadership and communication skills
n
- Good computer literacy and data entry skills
n
- Good reading and writing skills
n
- Strong understanding of quality, food safety and compliance
n
- A reliable and positive attitude
n
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
n
- Ability to perform manual handling and heavy lifting
n

Pay Rate:

n

n
- Starting rate: $33.80 per hour
n
- Career progression to Line Leader / Multivac Operator: up to $44 per hour
