We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to join our Finance team in Erskine Park.

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or someone early in their accounting career who is looking to develop strong practical finance and accounting skills in a supportive environment.

n

You will work closely with our Finance Analyst and Finance Manager, gaining hands‐on exposure to a broad range of accounting and financial analysis activities. You will also provide support to the Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) functions as required.

n

Importantly, you will receive structured on‐job training and guidance from experienced Big 4‐trained finance team members.

n

No previous work experience is mandatory — we are primarily looking for someone with the right qualifications, attitude, attention to detail and willingness to learn.

Key Responsibilities

n

Working as part of the Finance team, you will assist with:

n

- Preparing and posting accounting journals.
n
- Performing routine account and balance sheet reconciliations.
n
- Assisting with financial and management reporting.
n
- Supporting month‐end and year‐end accounting processes.
n
- Assisting with variance analysis and investigating significant movements.
n
- Maintaining accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
n
- Assisting the Finance Analyst and Finance Manager with accounting, reporting and financial analysis activities.
n
- Providing support to the Accounts Receivable (AR) function,



including customer account reconciliations, receipting and allocation of payments, and other AR activities as required.
n
- Providing support to the Accounts Payable (AP) function, including invoice processing, supplier reconciliations and other AP activities as required.
n
- Working with the broader Finance team to ensure accurate and timely completion of finance processes.
n
- Assisting with other ad hoc finance and accounting activities as required.
n

About You

n

We are looking for someone who is:

n

n
- A recent graduate or early‐career accounting/finance professional.
n
- Studying towards, or has completed, a suitable undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Economics or a related discipline.
n
- Highly organised and detail‐oriented.
n
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills would be advantageous.
n
- A explicit and professional communicator.
n
- Proactive, reliable and willing to take ownership of tasks.
n
- Curious and eager to learn.
n
- Comfortable supporting different areas of the Finance function as business needs require.
n
- Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
n

Previous accounting or finance work experience is not mandatory.
