Building Maintenance Team Member (Temporary)

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Building Maintenance Team Member to join the Building & Properties team on a temporary full-time basis to support operational requirements during a period of extended staff leave.

About the Role

Reporting to the Building & Properties team, this position will undertake a range of building maintenance and construction-related activities across Council facilities and assets. The successful candidate will work a 38-hour week on a 9-day fortnight, based at Council depot locations.

The engagement is anticipated to run from Early September 2026 to Early December 2026, although this may vary depending on operational requirements.

About You

To be successful, you will ideally be a qualified carpenter with experience in building maintenance, repairs, and construction work. Candidates with strong labouring experience and a solid construction background are also encouraged to apply.
