An exciting opportunity is available for an organised and proactive HR Coordinator to join a growing Brisbane-based construction group.
n
This is a broad, hands-on position supporting the day-to-day delivery of HR services across the organisation. Working closely with managers, employees and senior leadership, you will coordinate recruitment, onboarding, employee documentation, HR systems and general employee support.
n

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare employment contracts, variations and HR correspondence.
n
- Coordinate recruitment across corporate and project-based positions.
n
- Manage interview scheduling and candidate communication.
n
- Complete reference checks and pre-employment requirements.
n
- Coordinate onboarding, inductions and probation review processes.
n
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR system information.
n
- Respond to general HR enquiries from employees and managers.
n
- Monitor contracts, qualifications, licences and compliance documents.
n
- Support performance management and employee relations processes.
n
- Coordinate payroll changes and employee information.
n
- Assist with policy, procedure and HR template updates.
n
- Support employee engagement, training and wellbeing initiatives.
n
- Coordinate employee departures and offboarding activities.
n
- Prepare HR reports and monitor outstanding actions and deadlines.
n

About You
n
You will be approachable, highly organised and comfortable working in an environment where priorities can change quickly.
n
Ideally, you will bring:
n
n
- Previous experience in an HR administration or coordination role.
n
- A qualification in human resources, business or a related discipline.
n
- Understanding of Australian employment practices and legislation.
n
- Experience preparing contracts and employment documentation.
n
- Exposure to recruitment, onboarding and employee lifecycle processes.
n
- Strong written communication and document preparation skills.
n
- High attention to detail and confidence managing sensitive information.
n
- The ability to prioritise competing deadlines and follow through on tasks.
n
- Confidence using HR systems and Microsoft Office applications.
n
- A practical, professional and service-focused approach.
n
n
Experience within property development, construction or a project-based workplace would be advantageous but is not essential.
