About the role

n

As an Accounts & Finance Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the business. This position is ideal for a candidate who enjoys working with numbers, has strong attention to detail, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

n

Key responsibilities

n

Processing accounts payable and receivable

n

Conducting daily bank reconciliations and transaction monitoring

n

Issuing invoices and managing debtor follow-ups

n

Assisting with payroll, BAS preparation, and financial reporting

n

Data entry, maintaining financial records, and managing internal finance systems

n

Providing administrative support for finance, compliance, and operational projects

n

About you

n

1–3 years' experience in an accounts or finance-related role

n

Proficiency with Xero, MYOB, or similar accounting software

n

Strong Microsoft Excel skills (Intermediate to Advanced)

n

High attention to detail and accuracy

n

Excellent time management and organisational skills

n

A positive,



proactive attitude and willingness to learn

n

Accounting or finance qualifications (highly regarded)
