The Role

We’re looking for an experienced Head of Product to shape and lead the strategic direction of Police Health’s product offering.

Reporting to the Chief Strategy Officer, you'll drive product strategy, innovation and performance, ensuring our health insurance product, member programs and provider partnerships continue to deliver exceptional value for members. Working across the business and with key external partners, you'll identify opportunities to enhance our offering, provide commercial insights that support informed decision-making, and lead initiatives that strengthen member outcomes, competitiveness and sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the development and delivery of Police Health's Product Roadmap.
- Drive product innovation, enhancements and product development initiatives.
- Provide strategic and commercial advice to support product competitiveness and business performance.
- Monitor member insights, market trends and regulatory changes to identify opportunities and risks.
- Oversee product-related provider partnerships, contracting arrangements and third-party relationships.




- Deliver meaningful reporting and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
- Lead and develop a high-performing Product team.
- Ensure strong governance, risk management and compliance across product activities.

About You

You’re a strategic and commercially minded leader who enjoys turning insights into action. With strong analytical capability and a member-focused mindset, you build trusted relationships, influence outcomes and drive meaningful results. Equally comfortable shaping long-term strategy and delivering practical outcomes, you thrive on continuous improvement and creating solutions that deliver value for members.

You'll Bring:

- Qualifications in business, finance, actuarial studies or similar.
- Proven product strategy and development expertise.
- Commercially astute with strong analytical capability.
- Ability to translate insights into business outcomes.
- Experience influencing executives and strategic decisions.
- Track record of building high-performing teams.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and partnership skills.
- Experience within private health insurance or another highly regulated industry.

Appointment to this role is subject to the successful completion of a National Police Check on commencement and every three years thereafter, as well as confirmation of Australian work rights.
