- Monday to Friday, full time hours, with possibility of weekend work
- Coordinate the effective and timely management of quality control testing of raw materials, intermediates and final products
- Ensure training requirements are met for QC Analysts and QC Support Assistants, as per established processes and procedures
- Following approved procedures to perform a range of tests, Immunohaematology assays, Antibody Screening and Phenotyping.
- Assist in specimen reception duties by logging and receiving samples onto the Laboratory Information System
- QC processes are validated, and qualified equipment and premises conform to GxP requirements.
- All equipment is appropriately validated, maintained and within calibration.
- Support the operational area pro-actively to prevent invalid assays
- Review, approve and authorise QC test results as per approved procedures

About you:

- Tertiary education in Science
- Experience in Pathology/Laboratory, Reference Immunohaematology or blood banking
- Working knowledge of applicable GMP/GLP regulations, TGA guidelines, and other applicable regulations and guidance
- Proven technical writing and editing skills
- Demonstrated track record in effective project management
