Qualified Landscaper / Leading Hand – Water Features & Natural Landscapes

NatureBuild Australia is looking for an experienced Landscape Construction Tradesperson / Leading Hand to join our growing team in Central Victoria.

We specialise in high-end natural landscapes, ecosystem ponds, recreation ponds, waterfalls and streams, creating unique projects throughout Central Victoria.

We’re looking for someone with strong landscape construction skills who takes pride in their work, can think for themselves on site and is ready to take ownership of parts of a project.

No pond or water-feature experience is required — we’ll teach you that.

What you’ll be doing

- High-end landscape construction including paving, retaining walls, drainage, concreting, timber and natural stonework
- Site set-out, levels and interpreting plans
- Operating excavators, skid steers and other machinery
- Constructing ponds, waterfalls, streams and natural landscapes
- Taking ownership of sections of larger projects
- Problem-solving and working independently when required
- Working alongside a small, hands-on team where quality matters

About you

Ideally, you’ll have Certificate III in Landscape Construction and solid industry experience, although we’d also like to hear from highly experienced candidates with a strong construction background.





We’re particularly interested if you:

- Are confident with levels, set-out and landscape construction
- Have strong paving, retaining, drainage and/or stonework skills
- Are comfortable operating excavators and skid steers
- Can read plans and work without constant supervision
- Take pride in producing high-quality finished work
- Are reliable, practical and comfortable solving problems
- Enjoy varied projects rather than doing the same thing every day

What we offer

$42–$50/hr + super, based on experience and capability.
