About the Role

n

We are seeking experienced and reliable Production Operators to join our manufacturing team. This is a hands-on position that combines forklift operation, machine operation, raw material handling, and production support activities. This is not a traditional warehouse forklift role. Operators will spend approximately 50% of their time operating forklifts and 50% performing machine operation and production-related tasks. Successful candidates will be comfortable working in a fast-paced FMCG manufacturing environment and willing to assist across multiple production areas as required.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently within the production environment.
n
- Supply raw materials and packaging materials to production lines.
n
- Operate depalletising and production equipment safely and effectively.
n
- Load materials into machinery and monitor machine performance.
n
- Remove empty pallets, waste materials and production by-products.
n
- Cut straps, unpack materials and prepare product for production.
n
- Support production line operations and equipment changeovers.
n
- Conduct basic machine troubleshooting and fault reporting.
n
- Follow site safety procedures, GMP and quality standards.
n
- Wear and maintain required PPE at all times.
n
- Assist across different production areas as operational demands require.
n
- Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping within the production area.

Skills & Experience

n

Essential

n

n
- Current LF Forklift Licence.
n
- Previous experience operating forklifts in a manufacturing,



production or FMCG environment.
n
- Experience working around machinery and production equipment.
n
- Strong understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
n
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
n
- Positive communication skills and a proactive attitude.
n
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
n

Desirable

n

n
- Experience operating depalletisers or automated production equipment.
n
- FMCG manufacturing experience.
n
- Machine operation experience.
n
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
n
- Experience working in high-volume production environments.
n

The successful candidate will be a highly autonomous operator who can relieve pressure across multiple production areas through safe forklift operation, strong machine operating capability, flexibility, and a proactive approach to work. This role is ideal for an experienced production operator who enjoys a diverse position rather than being solely forklift-based or solely machine-based.
