As we continue to grow our Queensland operation, we're looking for a Security Technician / Installer to join our team.

n

About the Role

n

This is a wide-ranging, hands-on role where no two days are quite the same.

n

You'll be responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance and preparation of Site View's standalone solar-powered security systems, working both independently and alongside our team.

n

You'll travel to customer sites throughout Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast and Ipswich, working with modern CCTV, intrusion detection, communications and remote monitoring technology.

Your day-to-day will include:

n

- Installing and commissioning Site View security systems
n
- Servicing, maintaining and troubleshooting equipmentPreparing and manufacturing equipment for deployment
n
- Diagnosing technical issues in the field
n
- Working with CCTV, alarms and associated technology
n
- Liaising professionally with customers and site contacts
n
- Ensuring installations are completed safely, neatly and to a high standard
n
- Working autonomously while remaining part of a supportive national team
n

About You

n

We're looking for someone who brings the right attitude first.

n





Previous CCTV, security or technical experience is highly regarded, but we're also open to someone with robust practical skills who is eager to learn.

n

You'll ideally have:

n

n
- A current Queensland Driver Licence
n
- Current White Card
n
- Queensland Security Provider Licence – Class 2 (Security Equipment Installer)
n
- Blue Card / Working with Children clearance
n
- EWP licence up to 11m – preferred but not essential
n
- CCTV and/or alarm experience – preferred but not essential
n
- Confidence using hand and power tools
n
- Good physical fitness and willingness to work outdoors
n
- Solid attention to detail
n
- Good problem-solving skills
n
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
n
- A proactive, reliable and positive attitude
n
- The ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
n
