Located right by the beach, our surf club is a favourite for locals and visitors enjoying casual dining, cold drinks, and friendly service. With stunning views, a relaxed atmosphere, and a busy calendar of functions, we're looking for experienced, reliable and energetic chefs to join the kitchen team at our lively coastal venue.

The Role

We're looking for a talented, creative, and qualified chefs to prepare and deliver exceptional meals for our club members and guests.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Prepare high-quality creative dishes, including both a regular menu and daily specials
n
- Cater to dietary preferences and requirements, including vegetarian and gluten-free options
n
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised kitchen environment
n
- Managing stock ordering, deliveries, and inventory
n
- Uphold high standards of food hygiene and safety regulations
n
- Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure smooth service and quality
n

Qualifications & Skills

n

n
- Australian work rights are required for this position
n




- Either Cert IV Commercial Cookery or Diploma of Hospitality Management qualification is acceptable
n
- Proven experience as a chef in a fast paced kitchen role with up to date references.
n
- Strong leadership, communication & people management skills
n
- Calm under pressure, great with people, and highly organised
n
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards
n
- Passionate about fresh, local ingredients and creative cuisine
n
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy, fast-paced environment
n
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
n
- Skilled in stock control, ordering, and supplier management
n
- Flexible availability, including evening, weekends and holiday periods
