Civil Supervisors – Mining & Road Construction

Cooper McCullough Group (CMG) is seeking experienced Civil Supervisors to join our growing team across projects throughout Central Queensland.

n

We are looking to hear from supervisors with strong experience in either mining civil works or TMR/Council road construction and stabilisation. Opportunities are available across our current and upcoming projects.

n

About the Roles

n

As a Civil Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading crews and coordinating day-to-day site activities to ensure works are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

- Mine site civil and earthworks projects
n
- TMR and Council road construction and upgrades
n
- Road rehabilitation and stabilisation works
n
- Bulk and detailed earthworks
n
- Pavement construction and preparation
n
- Drainage and associated civil works
n
- Plant and equipment coordination
n
- Rehabilitation and maintenance works
n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Supervise and coordinate civil crews, subcontractors and plant
n
- Plan daily works and allocate labour, plant and resources
n
- Ensure works are completed safely and in accordance with project requirements
n
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, clients and site representatives
n
- Monitor productivity, quality and project progress
n
- Conduct pre-starts, toolbox meetings and daily planning
n
- Maintain high standards of safety, environmental compliance and workmanship
n
- Assist with programming and achieving project milestones
n

We are looking for experienced, practical supervisors who can confidently lead crews and get results on the ground.

- Mining civil construction and earthworks
n
- TMR road construction
n
- Local Government/Council road projects
n
- Road stabilisation
n
- Bulk earthworks
n
- Drainage and associated infrastructure
n
- Supervising operators and multi-skilled civil crews
n

n

Previous experience supervising TMR, Council or mine site projects will be highly regarded.

n

You will also need strong leadership and communication skills, a solid understanding of civil construction methodologies and a commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
