Paying between $88.29-$94.50ph + super. Carseldine QLD location with hybrid flexibility. Temp contract until 11th April 2027 with possible extensions.

About the Role

Our client is a QLD government organisation based in Carseldine QLD. They are currently seeking an AO7 Principal Finance Advisor to come in and work with them on a temp contract until 11th April 2027 with possible extensions.

Requirements

n

n
- Possession of a tertiary qualification in accountancy is highly desirable.
n
- Demonstrated expertise in the management of financial transactions, processes and systems, with the ability to ensure strong financial governance, compliance with accounting standards and departmental requirements.
n
- Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement and deliver practical business outcomes. Demonstrated experience leading or contributing to business improvement, process review, organisational change or transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities

n

- Workflow Analysis & Business Intelligence: Analyse financial and administrative processes to streamline operations, cut down workload, and deliver data-driven insights for decision-making.
n




- Process Improvement & Delivery: Lead the design and timely rollout of business process enhancements, collaborating across teams to ensure successful adoption and measurable benefits.
n
- Financial Governance & Compliance: Establish robust governance frameworks, internal controls, and policy compliance to protect financial integrity and information quality.
n
- Stakeholder Management & Partnerships: Build and maintain strategic relationships across internal and external network partners to drive project success.
n
- Strategic Proposals & Business Cases: Draft high-level business cases, formal recommendations, and improvement proposals for executive review and approval.
