The Opportunity

We are seeking highly motivated Component Repair & Overhaul Maintenance Technicians to join our growing team based in Clontarf, QLD.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic aviation workplace, contributing to critical component repair and overhaul operations while developing your technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform component tear-down, inspection, repair, modification, testing and reassembly
- Conduct component maintenance, including assembly, disassembly, cleaning, and testing
- Carry out component repair and overhaul activities both on and off-wing




- Investigate defects identified during inspection and testing, and implement corrective actions
- Work collaboratively with internal departments to ensure efficient processing of sub-components and resolution of technical issues
- Interpret and apply OEM documentation and airworthiness requirements
- Maintain a strong working knowledge of regulatory documentation (ADs, ASBs, TBs, STCs, and engineering orders)
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including workshop layout optimisation and process enhancements
- Support quotations, proposals, and compliance programs
- Maintain tools, equipment, and documentation to a high standard
- Ensure strict adherence to safety, quality, and company policies

About You

- Proven experience in component repair and overhaul maintenance
- Working knowledge of CASA regulations and industry standards
- Experience within a CAR 30 and/or Part 145 environment (highly regarded)
- Strong ability to interpret technical manuals and engineering data
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, energetic environment
- Strong problem-solving capability and initiative
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for aviation and delivering quality outcomes
- Willingness to continue learning and developing within the role
