We are seeking an experienced, passionate Permanent Casual Event Pastry Chef to join our team. You will play a vital role in leading the production in exquisite desserts and up-to-date plated sweets that match our reputation for high-volume and restaurant-quality execution.

Key responsibilities

Manage all dessert and pastry needs as per the requirements of the business whilst also assisting the Executive Chef if and when required in executing our culinary menus across the kitchen

Create, prepare and bake high-volume desserts for small to large-scale events up to 550 guests

Execute modern dessert plating and fine detailing with a high level of visual precision

Work cleanly and efficiently to meet strict event timelines

Manage stock, rotate inventory and maintain excellent organisation

Maintain a sound knowledge of OH&S; and food safety procedures at all times

About you

Proven commercial experience as a Pastry Chef in an event venue or high-volume environment

Excellent multi-tasking skills and the ability to thrive under high pressure

Exceptional attention to detail to ensure a competitive and modern edge to your presentations

Flexibility with working hours, including availability across weekdays, evenings, and weekends.



Required to work all rostered shifts as per SRB events calendar.
