Direct Stone Pty Ltd is seeking a dedicated Stone Mason Labourer to join our team in Drouin, VIC 3818. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in supporting our stone masonry operations. As a Stone Mason Labourer, you will work alongside experienced masons to assist in the fabrication, installation and finishing of stone products. This role is essential to maintaining our high standards of quality and ensuring projects are completed efficiently and safely on-site.

What you'll be doing

Assisting experienced stone masons with the cutting, shaping and finishing of stone materials using hand and power tools

Preparing work areas and ensuring all materials, tools and equipment are organised and readily available

Mixing and applying mortar, adhesives and sealants as required for stone installation

Helping to transport, position and secure stone materials during installation work

Cleaning and finishing stone surfaces to achieve the desired aesthetic quality

Maintaining a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations

Supporting the team with general labouring duties and site preparation activities

Operating and maintaining basic masonry equipment and tools in accordance with safety guidelines

What we're looking for

A willingness to learn and develop skills in stone masonry and construction trades

Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labour tasks, including lifting and carrying heavy materials

A strong work ethic and commitment to delivering quality workmanship

Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions from senior masons





Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team

A valid driver's licence is advantageous for site mobility and material transport

Relevant qualifications or certifications in construction or building trades are preferred but not essential for candidates with proven enthusiasm

A commitment to health and safety practices, including the ability to obtain or maintain a White Card (Construction Induction Certificate) if required
