About the role

We are seeking compassionate and reliable Support Workers on a casual basis to join the I'm Included Disability team in Warragul VIC 3820. As a Support Worker, you will provide essential assistance and support to individuals with varying disabilities, helping them to achieve their goals, maintain independence and participate fully in their communities. This role is crucial to our mission of delivering person-centred.

Key responsibilities

Your key responsibilities as a Support Worker will include:

- Providing direct personal care and support to clients with disabilities, including assistance with activities of daily living such as personal hygiene, dressing and meal preparation
- Supporting clients to participate in community activities, social events and recreational activities that align with their interests and goals
- Maintaining comprehensive and accurate records of client support sessions and any significant observations or concerns
- Communicating effectively with clients, families, carers and other members of the support team to ensure coordinated and consistent care
- Promoting client independence,



choice and dignity in all interactions and support provided
- Adhering to all health and safety procedures, duty of care obligations and organisational policies and procedures

What we’re looking for

To succeed in this casual Support Worker role, we are seeking candidates with the following skills, qualifications and experience:

- A genuine passion for supporting people with disabilities and a commitment to person-centred, inclusive care
- Physical capability to assist clients with mobility and personal care tasks, with the ability to work flexibly across different environments
- A valid Driver's Licence
- Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain these qualifications)
- A current Working with Children Check and a satisfactory NDIS Worker Screening
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
- Reliability, punctuality and professional conduct in all aspects of work
