We are currently seeking a temporary part-time staff member to joinour team based at Brimbank Learning Futures in Sunshine.

The role

Reporting to the Pathways and Employment Lead, we are seeking a talented Pathways and Programs Officer whocan bring their expertise and leadership to:

- Co-design learning programs with community groups
- Design and deliver programs aimed at empowering individuals in their vocational journeys
- Support the day-to-day operations of Brimbank Learning Futures
- Establish and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
- Provide training, career information and advice to community members
- Support the implementation of the Local Jobs Local People – Youth Stream
- Attract recent learners to Brimbank Learning Futures





To be considered you will have

- A tertiary qualification in an area related to the position e.g. community development, education or relevant equivalent substantial experience
- Community development, training or learning design experience
- Experience in providing career and learning pathway advice, training or programs
- Lived experience of the diverse communities in Brimbank
- Experience in working in a multicultural environment
