Evallies is seeking a Clinical Psychologist to join our specialist mental healthcare community in Kew. This opportunity is ideal for a psychologist with a dedication to excellent patient outcomes and providing quality healthcare. Evallies was founded by Dr Robert Gillies OAM (FRANZCP), and the team at Evallies has been expanding. Clinicians working with Evallies have sub-specialty expertise in ASD, ADHD, OCD, anxiety, trauma, sleep, eating, mood, and child/youth conditions. The rooms provide full administrative and facilities support, allowing you to focus entirely on delivering outstanding care to your future clients. There is an established group of clinicians who would become your peers, able to collaborate and support where appropriate.

Consistent referrals from established GP and specialist networks, including via the in-house psychiatrists that work at Evallies Rooms, who can provide a shared-care model of patient care with you. Psychiatrists and other clinicians in the multidisciplinary offering at Evallies can, from time-to-time and subject to their availability, offer assessment and care for patients that you are caring for

Flexibility: Work as much or as little as you like,



fitting your hours around your existing commitments and schedule. Please let us know in your application what your current and/or future expected availability is. We are looking for a candidate who can work a minimum of three days per week from the outset, and ideally full time equivalent hours

Remuneration: Earn highly competitive rates as a subcontractor operating from our rooms, with arrangements tailored to your preferences. Billings are between $270 and $320 per hour, depending on the fees you set and model of care - and as the clinical psychologist you retain 60% of your billings, after paying our service fee. Note that this is NOT an employee role and requires an ABN

Telehealth options: Deliver services in-rooms or via telehealth from anywhere in Australia using the Evallies telehealth platform

We have a long waiting list for psychiatry services. Practitioners can expect to quickly work towards a full list of clients as they build and establish their footprint with Evallies

Additional mentoring opportunities from Evallies peers depending on individual interests including research, business, technology, or clinical special interests

Peer Support: Collaborate with fellow psychiatrists, psychologists, and other multidisciplinary team members within the Evallies network to promote best practice and clinical excellence

Caseloads: Accept a general psychiatry caseload, or niche into a key area such as neurodevelopmental (ASD/ADHD), OCD, anxiety, sleep psychiatry, trauma focussed, peri-natal, or child & youth psychiatry

The Role

Practicing from our Kew rooms, you will provide psychological assessment and therapy to clients presenting with a range of mental health concerns. Common presentations include:

Anxiety and mood disorders

Burnout, stress, grief and/or life transitions

Trauma and complex trauma conditions

OCD and related conditions

Patient initiated request for CBT, ERP, ACT, schema, and/or EMDR

ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder

Child, adolescent and adult presentations

We welcome clinicians utilising a range of evidence-based approaches including CBT, ACT, Schema Therapy, EMDR, DBT-informed therapies, and integrative modalities. You will have full flexibility to shape your caseload around your clinical interests and areas of expertise.

About You

You are a skilled, thoughtful clinician who values both clinical independence and skilled connection.

You will have:

AHPRA registration as a Clinical Psychologist

Eligibility for Medicare provider status

Professional indemnity insurance and an ABN

A commitment to ethical, evidence-based, and reflective practice

Both early-career Clinical Psychologists and experienced clinicians are encouraged to apply. A minimum of 2 years of experience is preferred.
