The Opportunity

This established fit-out contractor is looking for a Junior Project Manager to join its minor projects team, working directly alongside an experienced PM across a pipeline of smaller fit-out and client works.

Projects typically sit around $100k - $300k, and you’ll generally be involved across 1-3 projects at a time, supporting coordination, subcontractors, contracts, budgets and delivery.

It’s a great step for someone with some construction experience who wants to learn the PM side properly, with an experienced person beside them rather than being thrown in the deep end.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Working alongside an experienced PM to manage 1-3 minor projects at a time
- Coordinate subcontractors, programmes and project deliverables
- Manage variations, invoices and purchase orders
- Liaise with clients, trades and internal teams
- Track budgets, schedules and project progress
- Carry out site inspections as required

What You’ll Bring

- Experience within fit-out, commercial, residential or insurance construction
- Strong organisation and communication skills
- Confidence dealing with clients and subcontractors
- Energetic, proactive and keen to take ownership
