About the role

n

EPSA is seeking a HV Electrician to be permanently employed by the company on a full-time basis. The role focuses on maintaining and troubleshooting A/C and electrical systems of heavy vehicles, executing repairs, and servicing in line with manufacturer and company standards, while ensuring safety, compliance, and quality maintenance through effective collaboration and resource management.

- Maintain A/C Systems
n
- Troubleshooting electrical systems
n
- Work to continuously improve the safety values and performance
n
- Carry out repairs and servicing in accordance with manufacturer's specifications and / or company procedures
n
- Ensure tools and equipment are kept in a serviceable and clean condition and items sourced from the Store are returned by the end of shift
n
- Ensure repairs and servicing is carried out in accordance with manufacturer's specifications
n
- Execute allocated work to ensure it is completed safely within the required timeframes and to the required level of quality
n
- Work effectively with the maintenance crews to adhere to the maintenance plan
n
- Ensure compliance with all Company policies and procedures
n




- Ensure compliance with the relevant legislation and statutory requirements
n
- Working with Maintenance Supervisors to ensure quality maintenance performance, including asset availability and reliability
n
- Work with Maintenance Supervisors to ensure effective resource allocation (such as people, equipment, and resources) to meet maintenance work targets and schedules
n

To be successful you will have:

n

n
- Current S11
n
- Current Australian Drivers Licence
n
- Electrical Trade Qualification (HV Electrician)
n
- High Voltage switching ticket
n
- Relevant trade qualification and other tickets as appropriate
n
- Experience working with diesel electric haul trucks essential preferably Komatsu
n
- Experience working with mobile plant equipment
n
- Proven excellent diagnostic, fault finding, trouble shooting and preventative maintenance skills
n
- Capable of reading and understanding parts manuals
n
- Team player attitude and capable of working with minimum supervision
n
- Commitment to health, safety, quality and the environment
n
- Current Coal Board Medical or willingness and ability to pass pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol testing
n
