Occupational Therapist – Community Aged Care

$90k–$110k + Super + $5k Travel + Bonuses

We’re working with a growing allied health provider that has built a strong community presence across Melbourne and is now looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join their team.

You’ll step into an established Aged Care / Support at Home caseload, with clients kept close to home, flexibility to manage your own diary and the support of experienced OT Managers and a dedicated admin team.

It’s a great fit for an OT who enjoys working with older adults and wants the autonomy of community work, without sacrificing clinical support, team connection or career progression.

The opportunity

You’ll work with older adults in their homes across a localised area of Melbourne, supporting them to maintain their independence, safety and quality of life.

Your work will include:

- Home safety and functional assessments
- Equipment and assistive technology
- Minor and complex home modifications
- Falls prevention
- Rehabilitation and mobility support
- Recommendations to improve independence at home
- Reports and clinical documentation

The caseload can remain predominantly Aged Care, with the option to incorporate NDIS work if you’d like some additional variety.

The support





While you’ll have autonomy in the community, there’s a strong team around you.

You’ll receive supervision directly from experienced Managers, alongside fortnightly catch‑ups and regular team meetings.

There’s also a dedicated admin team who take care of areas such as client bookings and scheduling, reducing the amount of non‑clinical work sitting with therapists.

- $90k–$110k + super, depending on experience

About you

You’ll be an AHPRA registered Occupational Therapist with at least 1 year of post‑graduate experience.

Previous Aged Care or community experience would be ideal, however OTs from NDIS or other community settings who are interested in moving further into Aged Care are also encouraged to apply.

You’ll need a current driver’s licence and your own vehicle for community visits.
