As an experienced Senior Clinician, you will: In collaboration with the Clinical Director, ensures the effective and efficient operation of the team.

Key responsibilities

- As an experienced Senior Clinician, you will: Responsible, with the Clinical Director, for reviewing critical incidents/adverse events, complaints, allegations and other sources of feedback about service quality and the propagation of recommendations if required.
n
- As an experienced Senior Clinician, you will: Responsible, with the college supervisor, for ensuring Trainee Medical Officers are supported in their training obligations and provided with the required training.
n
- Responsible for clinical supervision and line management of medical staff allocated to the team.
n
- Ensures that each consumer's care has a direct line of responsibility to a Consultant (in their relevant specialty).

What you need

- Appropriate Specialist Qualification for Consultant/Senior Consultant registrable as a Specialist with the Medical Board of South Australia.
n
- Proven leadership skills and an ability to motivate others.
n
- Proven ability to successfully lead skilled groups to achieve best practice clinical outcomes.
