A varied, hands-on position for an admitted solicitor who thrives in a fast-paced, client-facing setting. You will work alongside the Principal Solicitor, managing a diverse caseload and contributing to client outcomes from day one. The role commences part-time with a clear view to full-time as the firm grows.

Key responsibilities

- Manage caseloads across criminal, family law and IVO matters
- Draft correspondence, court documents, briefs and affidavits
- Appear in the Magistrates, County and Supreme Courts and FCFCOA
- Liaise with clients, counsel, prosecutors and courts
- Maintain file notes, time recording and trust compliance
- Assist with estates, debt recovery and civil matters
- Contribute to firm processes, precedents and templates

About you

- Admitted solicitor in Victoria — 0 to 3 years PQE
- Sound understanding of criminal and/or family law procedure
- Confident advocate — written,



oral and in court
- Organised, self-motivated, deadline-driven
- Comfortable working independently in a small firm
- Smokeball or similar practice management software preferred
- Commitment to client service and professional integrity
