About the role

n

The Group HR Generalist is an experienced, pragmatic and commercially focused HR practitioner operating across strategic people priorities and day-to-day HR operations. This is a hands-on autonomous role servicing multiple entities.

The role partners with GMs and leaders across the Group to provide practical HR advice and hands-on support across employee relations, performance, remuneration, workforce capability, organisational change and business integration.

Responsibilities

n

- Partner with business leaders to provide practical, commercially focused HR advice across the employee lifecycle.
n
- Manage and advise on employee and industrial relations, including performance, conduct, grievances, investigations and workplace issues.
n
- Provide advice on the Fair Work Act, NES, Modern Awards, enterprise agreements and employment contracts.
n
- Support enterprise agreement consultation and negotiation processes.
n
- Support recruitment, onboarding, workforce movements and employee lifecycle activities.
n




- Undertake remuneration benchmarking and support salary reviews and remuneration decisions.
n
- Support the Centurion Collective, through benchmarking and participation for diversity and inclusion initiatives.
n
- Support business integrations, restructures and organisational change, including people transition and employee communications.
n
- Work with Learning & Development on workforce capability, career development and leadership development.
n
- Identify people risks and provide practical solutions that support business performance and compliance.
n
- Contribute to Group HR policies, projects, systems and continuous improvement.

Selection Criteria

n

n
- Experienced HR Generalist with broad operational and strategic HR experience.
n
- Solid ER/IR capability, including investigations, performance and disciplinary matters.
n
- Exposure to enterprise agreement consultation and negotiation.
n
- Sound knowledge of Australian employment legislation, awards and employment conditions.
n
- Commercially minded, pragmatic and confident working with senior leaders.
n
- Strong influencing, communication, judgement and problem-solving skills.
n
- Comfortable operating across multiple businesses, locations and workforce groups.
n
- Tertiary qualification in HR, IR, Business or related discipline desirable.
n
- Unrestricted Australian Working Rights (essential)

The successful candidate will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical and provide a National Police Clearance.
