Job Description

- Analyse sales, revenue, margin and P&L; performance across customers, products, branches and business units to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
n
- Drive customer profitability, product mix and brand performance analysis, providing recommendations to improve margin and revenue outcomes.
n
- Monitor and report on key commercial and operational KPIs, ensuring performance aligns with business targets.
n
- Partner with regional managers to deliver performance reviews, actionable insights and decision support.
n
- Lead the development and enhancement of dashboards, reporting packs and business intelligence tools to improve business visibility.
n
- Evaluate pricing, rebates, promotions and revenue assurance activities to optimise profitability and revenue quality.
n
- Support budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling and scenario analysis to guide strategic and operational decision-making.
n
- Act as a trusted business partner across Sales, Operations, Supply Chain and Finance, driving reporting improvements, automation and commercial performance initiatives.

The Successful Applicant

n

n
- Tertiary qualification in accounting, finance, or a related field.
n
- CA/CPA qualification
n
- Excellent scenario modelling capability, coupled with an ability to story tell behind the numbers
n
- Proven experience partnering with non finance stakeholders
n
- Strong experience with BI highly desirable
n
- A willingness to 'roll up the sleeves' and deal with sometimes ambiguous, messy data
n
- Proficiency in financial analysis and modelling tools.
n
- Experience in the retail or FMCG sector is a bonus
n
- Genuinely compelling ability to communicate and influence decision making at a C-suite level
n
- Leadership experience a bonus
n
