Practice Lead - Town Planning/Urban Design/Landscape Architecture Sunshine Coast

Planned Resources are working with a well-established multidisciplinary consultancy looking for someone to lead their Place & Development team on Sunshine Coast - a team of around 5-6 staff. This is a genuine leadership role where you'll be running the business and not just delivering projects.

You'll take ownership of the team's people, clients, commercials and pipeline. Those with Town Planning, Urban Design or Landscape Architecture backgrounds are strongly relevant – leadership and commercial capability count for more than technical specialism here. Experience with masterplanned communities will be highly regarded.

The Role

- Leading and developing a team of 5-6 staff
- Owning key client relationships and identifying new opportunities
- Driving the pipeline - tenders, proposals and fee submissions




- Overseeing delivery on major projects, including quality and commercial outccomes
- Keeping an eye on revenue, utilisation, profitability and forecasting
- Mentoring emerging and senior team members
- Representing the business with clients and industry contacts

About You

- Currently an Associate Director, Associate, Principal or existing Practice/Studio lead ready for broader leadership
- Or a Senior Town Planner/Landscape Architect/Urban Designer with robust client and team leadership experience
- Track record managing professional teams and client relationships
- Commercially switched on - budgets, utilisation, forecasting and BD
- Relevant tertiary qualifications; SEQ relationships a bonus, not essential.
