We are seeking a caring, dependable and resilient Residential Support Worker to join our team. You will help provide a safe, nurturing and structured home environment in which children and young people feel supported, valued and able to achieve positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

1. 1. Provide consistent, person-centred care tailored to each young person’s needs.
2. 2. Build trusting and professional relationships while maintaining appropriate boundaries.
3. 3. Support young people with daily routines, education, appointments, activities and community engagement.
4. 4. Promote independence, confidence, emotional wellbeing and positive behaviour.
5. 5. Maintain a safe, welcoming and homely workplace.
6. 6. Follow individual care plans, risk assessments and safeguarding procedures.
7. 7. Respond calmly and appropriately to challenging situations.
8. 8. Complete accurate daily records, reports and other required documentation.
9. 9. Work collaboratively with colleagues, families and external professionals.
10. 10. Participate in handovers, team meetings, training and supervision.
11. 11. Support with household duties and the smooth day-to-day running of the home.
