- Minimum 5 years' experience in the manufacture of Tungsten Carbide composite rods and manufacture of Tungsten Carbide hard facing.

- Prior experience within the Resources / Oil & Gas Industry.

- Prior experience at a Plant Metallurgist level.
n
- Must be willing to work independently and in a team setting.

- Provide Technical support to the processing team.
n
- Assisting with metallurgical test work.
n
- Actively participate in reviewing existing systems and processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
n
- Effectively monitor activities whilst maintaining statutory compliance.
n




- Provide leadership and mentoring to the process operators and ongoing technical support to the broader processing department.
n
- Collecting & analysing plant samples.
n
- Conducting test works of samples.
n
- Collating test work results.
n
- Sound knowledge of process Technologies and equipment.
n
- Ensuring test plane are carried out in line with Company's requirements.
n
- Reporting to Production Manager.
n
- Attention to detail is crucial to the success of this role.
n
- Must be able to think on your feet and act accordingly.
n
- 38-hour week with possible overtime available.
