SENIOR FINANCE MANAGER | PE-BACKED HEALTHCARE | PERMANENT ROLE | SYDNEY | $160-190K+

THE COMPANY

Highbury is partnering with a high-growth, PE-backed healthcare business to appoint a Senior Finance Manager reporting directly to the CFO.

Backed by a leading private equity firm, the business is in an exciting growth phase, offering genuine scope for a commercially-minded finance professional to make a real impact and grow with the business, rather than simply keeping the wheels turning.

KEY RESPONSIBILTIIES

- Own financial controls, month-end close, and statutory reporting across the group
- Lead FP&A; activities including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis that genuinely shape commercial decisions
- Partner closely with the CFO and broader leadership team on strategic initiatives, board reporting, and investor requirements
- Provide commercial insights and business partnering support across operational teams
- Lead, mentor, and develop a finance team,



driving process improvement and capability uplift
- Get hands-on with ad hoc projects including system implementations, due diligence, and PE reporting requirements
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and internal controls

REQUIREMENTS

- Proven experience in a similar Senior Finance Manager or Finance Manager role in a PE-backed, high-growth, or healthcare experience highly regarded
- Strong technical grounding across financial controls, statutory reporting, and compliance
- Commercially astute with hands-on FP&A; experience
- Demonstrated people leadership experience, with a genuine willingness to be hands-on when required
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to partner directly with a CFO and senior leadership
- Adaptable and comfortable operating in a rapid-paced, evolving business
