About the Role

Esri Australia’s Solution Engineering team is leading the way in innovative geospatial solution design. We partner with clients to achieve strategic business goals through the application of up-to-date GIS technology, helping organisations across commercial, infrastructure, and government sectors harness the power of location intelligence.

As a Senior Geospatial Solution Engineer , you’ll be hands-on with GIS, and thrive as a great communicator who engages with customers, works independently, and brings innovation to the table.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Provide solutions, ideas, and advocacy that bridge the gap between geospatial technology and business outcomes
- Collaborate across teams to develop integrated geospatial solution offers spanning software, services, and partner technologies
- Engage with clients to understand their needs and demonstrate how they can benefit from the full potential of GIS in their organisation
- Prepare bids and technical proposals that clearly articulate a compelling value proposition for the client
- Deliver compelling presentations and discussions to demonstrate technology capabilities and business value to stakeholders at all levels
- Promote innovation and knowledge sharing across the team and company

About You

We are seeking a candidate with strong technical, hands-on GIS expertise , an understanding of how GIS integrates with IT, a proactive approach with a willingness to learn and share knowledge, and a genuine passion for ArcGIS.



To succeed in this role, you will bring:

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in GIS or related discipline
- Strong experience designing or delivering solutions using the ArcGIS platform
- Solid experience working in a consulting or presales role, and interacting at all levels of an organisation, both internally and with clients
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to design and present complex technical solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Knowledge of sales methodologies and solution selling
- Working knowledge of cloud infrastructure or enterprise IT environments highly desirable
- Experience working in local government, infrastructure, or AEC highly desirable
- You must hold current permanent and full-time working rights in Australia
- Attitude and behaviour align with Esri Australia’s core values
