This role can be based at any youth justice location within the Barwon South West, Grampians or Loddon Mallee Region, with travel expected across these locations as required.

Key responsibilities

- The Community Partnership Team Leader is responsible for overseeing the Community Service program, leading a team of Case Officers and developing productive and sustainable stakeholder relationships with community agencies that promote rehabilitation and community connection for young people.
n
- A full Victorian driver's licence and employee Working with Children Check (WWCC) card are mandatory for this role.
n
- Manage the Community Service and Partnerships stream for the area, overseeing a team of case Officers, enhancing development and providing professional supervision.
n




- Prepare reports and briefings; review court reports and endorse court reports, advice and recommendations.

What you need

n

- Advanced understanding of the criminal justice system as it relates to young people, best practice case management principals and philosophy underpinning relevant legislation.
n
- Ability to build relationships with various community groups and community service providers to develop partnership strategies.
n
- Solid leadership capability in an operational environment, including staff management, service delivery and governance practices.
