We are currently looking for a dedicated Load Inspector and Traffic Controller/Waste Sorter to join our team and help us maintain Quality and safety at our Kimbriki Organic Waste Processing Facility
Job Summary:
As a Vehicle Load Inspection and Waste Sorting, you will play a crucial role in overseeing vehicle traffic into our facility, inspecting incoming loads, and ensuring we keep the inbound vegetation stream free of contaminates. Your attention to detail and strong communication skills will help facilitate smooth operations within our facility. Your Ability to identify incoming contamination such as Plastic, treated and engineered timber and your willingness to assist with yard hand duties such as site laboring works and picking will see you successfully undertake this role.
Reporting to the Site Manager your Key Responsibilities:
Inspect all incoming loads
Direct and control vehicle traffic within the facility to ensure safety and efficiency.
Maintain accurate records of ANL goods inward and non-conforming loads
Carry out Yard hand and contamination pickers duties as directed.
Collaborate with team members to identify and resolve any operational issues.
Communicate effectively with drivers and staff regarding procedures and safety protocols.
Assist in maintaining a clean and organised work environment.
No Previous Experience required however:
Local persons encouraged to apply semi-retired or mature applicants encouraged to apply
Applicants must be 18 years of age or over
Own reliable transport Non Negotiable
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Be physically fit and able to assist team with Yard hand duties
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Ability to identify incoming contamination such as plastic, Glass, treated and engineered timber
White card, traffic management highly regarded
First Aid and Forklift tickets or willingness to obtain are highly regarded.
Previous experience in load inspection, traffic control, or a related role highly regarded but not necessary
