Experienced Baker / Cake Baker - 30+ Hours | 5am Starts

Rosalie Gourmet Market is looking for an experienced commercial Baker / Cake Baker to join our team in Paddington. You'll be responsible for producing a range of fresh, high-quality baked goods for our gourmet deli, working confidently in a busy commercial kitchen. This role is available with an immediate start.

Key responsibilities

- Produce a range of fresh, high-quality baked goods for our gourmet deli, including cakes and celebration cakes
n
- Prepare sweet slices and other baked goods
n
- Perform cake icing and decoration
n
- Create products catering to gluten-free, dairy-free and vegan dietary requirements
n
- Follow recipes and maintain excellent consistency
n
- Prepare products efficiently to meet daily production requirements
n
- Maintain high standards of presentation and quality
n
- Keep the kitchen clean, organised and compliant with food safety requirements
n

About you

n

n
- Minimum 2 years' professional/commercial baking experience
n
- Proven experience baking and icing cakes
n
- Good practical baking skills and attention to detail
n
- Experience working with gluten-free, dairy-free and vegan products
n
- The ability to work efficiently and independently
n
- A strong understanding of food safety and hygiene
n




- Reliable availability for 5:00am starts. No evenings. Day time shifts, usually finishing prior to 2pm.
n
- A positive attitude and willingness to be part of a small, hardworking team in a family run business
n
- Experience in a bakery, patisserie, gourmet deli, café, restaurant or similar premium food environment will be highly regarded
