Position Purpose
Telegram Co is seeking a proactive and innovative Junior Planner on a fixed term contract to support forecasting, planning and allocation across Telegram Co and Milligram product ranges.
This role reports directly to the Merchandise Planning Manager. The role manages store allocation and replenishment whilst supporting a defined portfolio across stock intake planning.
This role is fixed term 12-month maternity leave contract.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage allocation of inventory to stores, using your evaluation of historical sales trends, demand drivers and model stock for stores to ensure the right stock is in the right place at the right time
Maintain store stock levels by setting and managing minimum and maximum thresholds for all products.
Act as a key contact for Milligram stores for any inventory availability queries
Core bottoms up build and review for allocated brands/category portfolio via stock flow maintenance
Analyse sales and stock performance to identify trends and opportunities.
Assist the Merchandise Planning Manager to manage OTB and Seasonal stock quantification
Collaborate with stores, suppliers, and warehouses to ensure efficient stock flow
Produce and distribute weekly trade reporting to the team to support decision making with actionable insights
Support pre-season planning and execute seasonal allocations
Assist with both in-season and post-season reports to track performance of the range
Conduct regular store visits to keep connected with customer needs and give/receive feedback on inventory performance
The Successful Applicant:
Retail and planning knowledge
Solid retail experience, ideally in a multi-brand, multi-channel environment, such as an allocator or buying assistant role.
Understanding of key planning and buying concepts, with the ability to apply them to optimise sales, margin and stock outcomes.
Commercial mindset with confidence interpreting key retail and financial measures.
Analytical and system capability
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to develop practical recommendations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly intermediate Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs and formulas.
NetSuite experience is advantageous but not essential.
