We are currently seeking an experienced MIG Welder with strong mild steel fabrication skills for ongoing work based in Smithfield. This is an excellent prospect for someone reliable, detail-oriented, and safety-focused looking for stable Monday-to-Friday work.

Key Responsibilities
n

- Fabricating and welding mild steel components independently
n
- Performing MIG welding on 6mm fillets
n
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and engineering plans
n
- Handling, cutting, and lifting mild steel materials safely
n
- Producing high-quality welds and finishes
n
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe workspace
n
- Following all workplace health and safety procedures
n
n
About You
n
n
- Previous experience in MIG welding and mild steel fabrication
n
- Ability to read and interpret workshop drawings
n
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
n
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and within a team
n
- Full PPE including welding helmet, gloves, and steel-cap boots
n
- Own vehicle or reliable transport preferred
n
