As the Transport Manager at ATT Logistics, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the company's transportation and distribution operations. In this full-time position based in Yarraville - Victoria, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective management of the company's fleet, transportation routes, and logistical processes. Your expertise will be instrumental in optimising the flow of goods and materials, while also maintaining high standards of safety and compliance.

This newly created role is looking for a relationship focused & organised individual to start from the beginning of our newest contract and exceed all expectations. Be a driving force of growth and continuous improvement within our expanding network of operations.

What you'll be doing

- Develop and implement transportation strategies to meet the company's operational and financial goals
- Manage and coordinate the daily activities of the transportation team, including route planning and allocating appropriate transportation
- Monitor transportation costs and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
- Ensure compliance with relevant transportation regulations and industry standards
- Collaborate with other departments, such as warehousing and customer service, to ensure seamless logistics operations
- Continuously analyze and optimize transportation processes to enhance efficiency and responsiveness
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the transportation team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
- Ensure the operating requirements are met by the team and ensure coverage is consistent and inline with our clients needs





What we're looking for

- Proven experience as a Transport Manager or in a similar leadership role within the logistics or transportation industry
- Excellent understanding of transportation management principles, including route planning, scheduling, and fleet management
- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address operational challenges
- Proficient in using transportation management software and data analysis tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Thorough knowledge of relevant transportation regulations and industry best practices
- Ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
